Edna Hibel’s Arte Ovale Porcelain series makes highly-collectible art and gifts, with many editions already sold out. The Arte Ovale series comprised three designs : Takara, Taro Kun and Xin Xin of the High Mountains. Edition sizes were quite limited. Taro Kun is the second in the Arte Ovale Series and is the only one still available.
Cherish Collectibles has been very fortunate to obtain extremely rare Artist's Proofs of the gold versions of Taro Kun as well as Xin Xin of the High Mountains. Every Proof has a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Edna Hibel.The gold versions are the rarest of the three versions produced (there were gold, cobalt blue and white porcelain) and artist's proofs are even rarer as only a handful are ever made.
Arte Ovale Porcelain are original Lithographs transferred to Rosenthal’s finest-quality Bavarian porcelain. These exquisite porcelain art collectibles feature 32 colors plus gold, and the total edition size of each image is 2000.
Each image was created in a selection of 24K Gold background (300 units), Cobalt Blue background (1000 units), and Pure White Porcelain background (700 units). Dimensions are approximately 11” X 15”.
